one day
The International Day of Friendship, or International Friendship Day, is a global observance dedicated to recognizing the value and importance of friendship as a noble and cherished emotion in the lives of people all around the world. Every year on July 30th, the world celebrates International Friendship Day, a day established by the United Nations General Assembly in 2011. All member states were invited to observe this day on July 30th each year, following the original proposal by the World Friendship Campaign. The General Assembly recognized that friendship between peoples, nations, cultures, and individuals can inspire efforts for peace, provide opportunities to build bridges between communities, counteract and challenge misconceptions, and uphold human connections and respect for cultural diversity.
